during my gen med rounds:

med resident: OMG, you have a tongue piercing? I never knew that!

me: oh yeah, haha (embarassed).  I try to talk a certain way to hide it.

med resident: Why? It's what's up here (taps my head) and in here (points to my heart) that is important. 

procrastinating like a mad woman.  finals are coming up just around the corner and i am.... unprepared!  oh yes... feeling that GPA drop coming on.  not a good feeling.  besides busting my ass at work (Savon/ Chinese Hospital), been trying to hand over my extracurricular leadership positions as quickly as possibly to the next generation, hehehe- well, sort of. 

things left to take care of: KY House Manager stuff (which is driving me a little crazy, stop changing your minds!), Orientation stuff, and residual ASSP stuff.  oh yes, next fall i still get to do events b/c we didn't get to do our spring quarter events.  i'm not done yet!

sadly, no one seems to be interesed in doing OC stuff!  why is our P2 class so un-involved?  i've only had 1 person (who was not an OC last year), want to be one this year.  lame!  it's always like that... the same ppl get super involved with everything - all the leadership stuff, spring auction, etc, and then once you've gone through that group of really involved ppl, you don't have anyone else left who will help.  sad!

too bad my mind is in summertime already- things i want to do this summer:

- learn to knit

- make a scrapbook of my ucsf years here

- get some orchid plants for the house and try not to kill them

- clean out the 3 house closets

- hit up museums and street fairs all summer long

- explore some dope underground scenes- hip-hop, jazz, funk, soul & house (i love summer!)

life's good.

ah... the beginning of a new quarter,... new classes, new events to plan, no time to sleep... still.  it's funny how some things never change, but a lot of things do change all at the same time.
